Natural Gas vs. Gasoline

• Natural Gas is cheaper
• Unlike Oil, Natural Gas is an abundant resource that requires little effort to make usable. Oil requires a "refining" process that takes much time and work to make functionably useful. NG can be pumped out of ground, filtered and is ready to use!
• Natural Gas is cleaner
• NG is so clean you can use it to cook food in your house with it. Right now thousands of Columbus area residents use this clean fuel to cook and heat with.
• NG creates Ohio and USA jobs
• NG can replace the outsourced jobs we are currently exporting to hostile countries allover the world. Right now we pump crude oil from countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Russia, fill large boats with it, and bring to our shores for refinement and consumption. Look at the billions spent every year that Americans are removing from our economy and litterly burning up. Its time we pay domestic suppliers for cleaner burning NG.
• NG can be used in most vehicles that are currently driven

This is the key for Columbus, we can talk about it, and think its great, but this is where reality is achieved. Right now almost any vehicle can be converted to run on NG. Cities allover the world already exist an NG as the main fuel for transportation.

The US Federal Government has given credit beyond credits to help fund vehicle conversions and refueling. Currently the only vehicle on the market that can be purchased new in the US is the Honda Civic NGV. Utilizing the existing gasoline engine almost all vehicles can be converted to run on NG. A Fuel Cell, intake system, computer update and a few other miscellaneous items is all it takes to convert.

For the eighth straight year, the Civic GX NGV was named "Greenest Vehicle" by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE). Not only did the Civic GX beat out a new electric-only vehicle for the top spot, but two other Honda vehicles also made the list, making 2011 the 10th consecutive year Honda has had more than two cars named to ACEEE's "Greenest Vehicles" list. Learn more.
