The Honda Prologue has standard driver and front passenger side knee airbags mounted low on the dashboard. These airbags help to prevent the driver and front passenger from sliding under their seatbelts or the main frontal airbags, keeping them better positioned during a collision. Knee airbags also help keep the legs from striking the dashboard, preventing knee and leg injuries in the case of a frontal collision. The EV6 doesn’t offer a front passenger side knee airbag.
Both the Prologue and the EV6 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rear parking sensors, rear cross-path warning and available around view monitors.
The Prologue has larger tires than the EV6 (255/60R19 vs. 235/55R19). The Prologue Elite’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the EV6 (275/45R21 vs. 255/45R20). The self-sealing tires available on the Prologue can automatically seal most punctures up to 3/16 of an inch, effectively preventing most flat tires. The EV6 doesn’t offer self-sealing tires.
The Prologue’s wheelbase is 7.6 inches longer than on the EV6 (121.8 inches vs. 114.2 inches). The track (width between wheels) on the Prologue is 2 inches wider in the front and 1.8 inches wider in the rear than the average track on the EV6. The Prologue has a 2 inches greater minimum ground clearance than the EV6 (8.1 vs. 6.1 inches), enabling the Prologue to travel over rougher terrain without being damaged or stopped. Passenger Space The Prologue has 8.7 cubic feet more passenger volume than the EV6 (111.7 vs. 103). The Prologue has .6 inches more front headroom, 2.7 inches more front hip room, 1.6 inches more front shoulder room, .1 inches more rear headroom, .4 inches more rear legroom, 1.2 inches more rear hip room and 2 inches more rear shoulder room than the EV6.
The Prologue has a larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the EV6 with its rear seat up (25.2 vs. 24.4 cubic feet). The Prologue has a larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the EV6 with its rear seat folded (57.7 vs. 50.2 cubic feet). A locking glovebox that keeps your small valuables safer in the Prologue is standard. The EV6 doesn’t offer locking storage for small valuables. Towing The Prologue’s towing capacity is higher than the EV6’s (1500 vs. 0 pounds).
The Prologue’s front and rear power windows all open or close fully with one touch of the switches. The EV6’s rear power window switches have to be held the entire time to open or close them fully.The Prologue has a standard rear wiper; the EV6 doesn’t offer a rear wiper.
