Both the Prologue and the Polestar 3 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rear parking sensors, rear cross-path warning and available around view monitors.
Warranty
Honda’s powertrain warranty covers the Prologue 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Polestar covers the 3. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the Polestar 3 ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.
There are almost 35 times as many Honda dealers as there are Polestar dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Prologue’s warranty.
Tires and Wheels
For better traction, the Prologue Elite’s tires are larger than the largest tires available on the Polestar 3 (275/45R21 vs. 265/45R21).
Suspension and Handling
For better handling and stability, the track (width between the wheels) on the Prologue is .2 inches wider in the front and 1.1 inches wider in the rear than on the Polestar 3.
